Description: Encourages business involvement with education, honors graduating seniors with academic excellence and hosts educational seminars for high school students.
CIVIC BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE

Committee Meets: Monthly—1st Wednesday, 12:00 noon
Description: This committee promotes beautification throughout the city, clean-up and recycling, promotes the yellow day lily, Amarillo's flower, works with Texas Department of Transportation, Center City, City of Amarillo and Amarillo Independent School District on landscaping projects, gives Civic Beautification Awards,
and conducts "Keep Amarillo Beautiful" project (part of the statewide project entitled "Keep Texas Beautiful."
